As a partnership developer, I help form and develop consortia made up of companies with international ambitions aimed at creating an innovative business with real economic and social impact.

Throughout my career, I have always worked to help solve societal challenges both in private and public roles. In my early years, I worked as a consultant to help redesign primary work processes, for example when creating a more efficient patient planning in a hospital, which reduced the waiting time before treatment. As a local councillor, I was responsible for organizing long-term care in the municipality, and as a policy coordinator for the Ministry of Foreign affairs I managed several funds that invest in public infrastructure in Asian and African countries, stimulating economic development.

For me, it is energizing to work on programs that help create profitable business models which also focus on a positive social impact, in a way that contributes to solving the major challenges of our time. The mix of technological knowledge and innovations, and bringing together different parties to ultimately achieve sustainable impact is very inspiring. My personal touch lies in assuring that the collaboration between different partners adds to the quality of the result, even on a personal level. It is a great pleasure and responsibility for me to contribute to this. I am proud to realize that in the Netherlands we have a wealth of knowledge and skills that can make a difference in the world.
